The mission of Home Residency is to offer emerging artists who are experiencing a point of transition within their life; personally, professionally, or artistically, a stable and secure environment in which they can take the time to reflect on where they’ve been and where they’d like to go. Often as emerging artists we are not allowed the resources and privilege of space and time to grow in the ways that we may like. Home Residency has positioned itself so that it may offer our selected artists with exactly that, the space, time, privilege and resources to create and grow their practice as well as their character without the outside pressures and stress that often accompany life’s day to day.
